Türkiye’den yeni bir Bupleurum (Apiaceae) varyetesi

Some interesting Bupleurum (Apiaceae) specimens with very branched stems, (1–)2-rayed inflorescences and ivory-white bracteoles were collected from Tepebaşı District (Eskişehir Province). The specimes, at first glance, resembled the pendikum (sect. Aristata) species, which is endemic in Türkiye, as a habit. However, result of detailed examination, it was determined that there some differences. Based on these differences, presented to scientific world new variety named var. eskisehiricum. fact are (1–)2 rays (not (2–)34(–5)); 2.6–3.7 mm broad, ovate-elliptic arista up 0.5 long 1.2–2 lanceolate 11.5 long); petals 0.6–0.8 broad 0.4–0.5 broad); filaments 0.7–0.8 c. long) mericarps 2.7–3.1 × 1.1–1.3 2.2–2.4 0.9–1 mm) most obvious attributes separate eskisehiricum B.
